Our focus areas

Women and Girls in Emergencies

CARE provides survivor-centered services for violence against women and girls, including case management, psychosocial support, safe spaces, legal assistance, and community-based prevention initiatives that promote dignity, safety, and informed choice.

Women, Peace, and Security

CARE supports women’s leadership in peacebuilding, governance, and social cohesion. Programs strengthen the capacity of women-led organizations and increase women’s participation in decision-making at community and national levels.

Health and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights

CARE delivers essential health services through health facilities and mobile clinics, expanding access to maternal health care, emergency services, and adolescent SRHR support, particularly in hard-to-reach areas.

Nutrition

CARE provides life-saving nutrition services for children and pregnant and lactating women, including treatment for acute malnutrition and community-based nutrition education.

Food Security and Livelihoods

CARE strengthens household resilience through livelihood support, agricultural inputs, climate-smart practices, savings groups, and cash-based assistance.

Humanitarian Action, Partnerships, and Localization

CARE works through national partners to deliver locally led responses, strengthen institutional capacity, and advance sustainable service delivery.
