What We Do

CARE South Sudan's approach goes beyond service delivery by addressing structural barriers to equality for women and girls, through strengthening women's voice, agency, and leadership across sectors.

Women’s empowerment and leadership

CARE partners extensively with women-led organizations and local civil society groups to strengthen leadership, advocacy, and service delivery. Programs such as Women Lead in Emergencies and Women’s Voices and Leadership build the capacity of women’s organizations to influence humanitarian response and policy.
